I awnsered this in the other post. This not really a countersink, it is a chamfer. This is to aid in reducing the burr that the tap will leave and also helps the tap start better. If your company does machining, you should go to the shop and see why this option is in pro?
Did machining myself (and welding), doesn't need to be an option. any good machinist will do this. It should be an option for clearance holes however. Edited by: jelston
If you are a handle cranker and are doing prototype why do you even need proe? This type of funtionis for "CNC" programming and needs to be on the part. Alot of people modeling parts here will be sending them to a CNC. If you send this part out to be made by an outside shop how do they know your design intent?
