Wildfire 2.0: Weld compatibility

Can Wildfire 2.0 be configured to recognize and alert when materials not suited for welding are made part of a welded assembly...?

I don't think so. You could write a relation to check the material for parts and return a parameter. Then add that parameter to your drawing. But it's more work for nothing.

You need only to have a little attention. When you create the parts you assign materials to them. Then when you make your welded assy drawing you show these materials in the BOM. And you can see if the BOM is showing that you weld copper to steel.

As far as I know there is no way of doing this, but just as a suggestion it might be possible to use ModelCheck to do this.....
