I've got an engine from a vendor, and have many fuel lines, etc. and I can't hide the centerlines without going into each seperate part. 1/2 a mornings work.
Biggest problem is that many people print these drawings up, and don't know toohide these layers. Then they wonder what these lines are.
Need everyone to send this in as a enhancement request... Edited by: davidinindy
After a lot of work, I find the solution to this annoying problem.
First, you have to hide all the pipe line in themodel tree, one by one(showing as pipe extend idxxxx), then go to option to pipe_solid_centerline and put "no".
and the last one: put the layer tree, go to the piping_blanked_layer and blank.
I always make drawing layers independent from the model. Then all you have to do is hide the layer in the drawing and all the pipe centerlines go away. Save the layer status and you don't have to worry about other people forgetting. I agree it is frustrating that Pro/E makes you deal with different types of entities in totally different ways but it has been like this from day one.
