Datum Plane aligned to bend

If you refer to the default datum planes to be normal to the bent component then you have to model the part from start to be normal to the planes. If the part it's a simple one, an L type part then you can do this by placing the first feature normal to the planesbut if the part have a complicate shape like a blend or something then the unbend will not be normal to the default datums.


But if you need datums, create them to be normal to your unbend part.
