How to create symbol?

Hi guys


I need to have some symbols in my drawing and need to create them as.sym. I know how to define a new symbol but the way to create it in Pro-E 2D drg istaking way too long time. Is there a better and faster way of creating symbol?Can we import drawing intoPro-Eand convert it into symbol?

You can import dxf to your drw and then use the option "copy drawing" when you define your symbol. "Copy drawing" lets you select what entities to copy into your new symbol.
