Bom baloon attachment

I have this problem on drawings, I just can' move the attachment point of a bom baloon of a subassembly. No problem with baloons of parts, only with subassy's.


Working with proE Wf2.0 date code M210 on a x64 HP xw8200


Anybody having the same problem, or better yet a sullution for this ?

try changing the type of reference, lets say is on entity change it to on surface. Are those subassemblies in the main assembly view, or this is another dwg page?

Hi Arroyopr,


Tried to change the reference on edge / surface/..., the shape of attachment, dot/filled dot/arrow/...


I have the problem aswell on the first view on the first sheet as on any other view.


If I delete a bom balloon on that first view and put it on another view with


table->...->bom baloon, it allways snaps back to the same reference.

I know this problem



do as follow:



Table>Repeat Region > Atributes > Recursive



than try to modify the attachment of baloon



after that



Table>Repeat Region > Atributes > Flat



but thna You again will be not able to change position



don`t as me why it is like that)))

That is a known issue which is present in that specific datecode.


It is resolved with WF2 M220 or WF2 M030.

Thanks all for the response, will try what you suggest and will ask for a newer date code of ProE.

I had the same Issue... We went back to M171.
