Speed up - Hypro treading

Does anyone have an experience with the P4 Hypro Threading technology? Is it worth to set in BIOS when using WF2-M180 and IL3.4?
The PC I use:
FSC M430-P4 3.4GHz with 2GB RAM.
This HyproThreading is an option in he BIOS but it was originally switched off.
Would it increase the speed of this PC when using WF2, or only when I run two proe sessions parallel?
Normally I work with big drawings and models (900MB-1.2GBmemory usage of the xtop.exe)

Firstly it's "Hyper Threading"

I personally think Intels Hyper Threading is the biggest marketing gimmick around. Notice it is no longer a feature in new systems?

Do turn it on though, it doesnt hurt.

It will not noticeably increase the speed of your PC.

Is your computer running slowish, or do you just wanna get as much out of it as possible?

Hyper threading digitaly make a processor works as two. It generally
speed up your PC (observable faster) including Pro/E & Intralink

but if you are using a duo processor system. Hyper threading may cause
your system not stable. It happened on an intralink server at my
customer place.
