Nvidia Quadro FX3500. Grapics option

Hi guys,

I have a Nvidia Quadro FX3500 grapics card running on a dell precision workstation. I am unsure about which of the graphics config options to set (gl, open gl, starbase, xgl, x_windows). I currently have it set to open gl and it seems to work fine but just wondering if this is fully utilising the graphics card. Anyone got any ideas.

Also anyone know what the ideal settings in the actual graphics card menu should be set to. I have set the active profile to pro/engineer and also set most of the options to their full settings range.

Thanks in advace for any help

I have a Quadro FX 3000, I just keep in open gl Pro/E and it works fine.

Had the card about 9 months

Click on Help -> Technical Support Info

Scroll until you see:

Pro/ENGINEER Graphics Type: OPENGL

It should read OPENGL if it's using you card.

If it reads WIN32GDI then you have a problem

starbase, xgl, x_windows are for UNIX systems.

** the only reason to set that is if you are having problems.
