Hello all,

Ive been beating my head aginst the desk trying to figure this out. Im trying to make a Var Sec Sweep that comes to a point but the kicker is my origin path curves around so making a third chain to depict the depth has eluded me...

Any tips, hints or suggestions (perhaps a pillow to hit my head on?:)

It looks likeyou're trying to sweep a half circle section from the start to a pointat the end. This is a blend. Use Swept Blend, not VSS.

Thanks for the tips, I was able to get this -

Can I ask how you were able to get your sweep to start from a point? I
thought section had to have the same number of segments so I just made very small shapes for the end points.

Nope - you can just place a point for your End Section. Remember to adjust Tangency to Smooth. I'm talking WF 3.0 - its worth upgrading just for the improved Swept Blend interface.

I couldnt find the option to change the Tangency to smooth. The only options I had under the Tangency tab were to change from Free to Tangent...

:)

Just show how to use BLEND command with smooth point.

If you have any weird problem, let me know. I hope i can help this.

cheers!
