Suggestions to making your e-Blast profitable:

Convince the reader to click on the link in your email and go to your site. The average person at work or at home is probably inundated with an inbox full of email. Catch the reader's interest in the subject of the email, the first few sentences, or a catchy graphic at the top of the email.

5 Steps to a Successful e-Blast:

1. Have a 1-line attention grabbing subject.
2. Hook the interest with a short explanation in the body (What's the incentive? Sale? Something free?)
3. Make a compelling impression with a cool graphic (not necessarily animated).
4. Link a success story or highlight a short testimonial to your email.
5.  Be careful with your subject. Try to make it so that it doesn't read like a typical advertisement. I've found that having the word Pro/E or Pro/ENGINEER really helps. It gets their attention because it's something that they are interested in. When I have drawings on my site where people win things, I have to carefully craft my subject and first few lines of the email so that they don't delete it, thinking it was junk mail. I actually had a winner email me back and tell me that it was a good thing that I had done that, otherwise it would have been deleted.

These are just some suggestions when preparing your e-blast.  Keep in mind that our users have requested this information so make it pleasing to the eye and informative.
